Three Rivers District Logo Contest

Three Rivers District is looking for a logo to represent the pride of our district.  We are calling on all Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Venturers and Leaders to help come up with a new logo.  The new district logo will appear on many Scout publications including but not limited to... The Scouter, the district website, the News Flash, a district patch.

Contest Rules

·         Due date is May 1st, 2008- Send submissions to Rick Suhrbier (rsuhrbier@dmvc.org).

·         Voting to choose the logo will take place at the Council Jamboree.

·         Submissions may be made by both scouts and leaders.

Logo Requirements

·         10 colors or less

·         Size= 3” diameter circle or 3” square

·         Must Include:

o   District Name “Three Rivers District”

o   Council Name “Del-Mar-Va Council”

o   Scout Logo

o   Visual Representation of  3 Rivers

·         District Chairman- Bob Swanson

·         District Vice Chair for Membership- Dale Streets

·         Webelos to Scout Transition Chair- Terri Millis

·         Camping Chairman- Mike Merritt

On April 5th we held our Annual District Recognition Dinner at Lonestar Restaurant in New Castle.  Over 50 people attended and had a good time.  We recognized our two new District Award of Merit recipients, Todd Morgan and Bruce Lantz, for their tireless work.  There was much camaraderie amongst all who attended.
