October 2007 Three Rivers District Scouting News

Hello everyone, this is for all those leaders who need Baloo,WELOT,and Scout Leader Outdoor Training.
If any adult comes Saturday morning (10-13) and stays through Sunday morning (10-14) they will receive BALOO, WELOT, and Boy Scout Outdoor Leader Training. He covers it all. Cost per person is $15.00 and all info is on http://www.cecildistrict.org/  Contact Mike Rossler. Training will be held at Rodney Site Shady Grove. Please get this out to your leaders there are not many of these let get them when we can.

MERIT BADGE COLLEGE - REVISED DATES SATURDAYS 1/12 & 2/2

Next Round Table Tuesday Nov 13th

** Roundtables meet bi-monthly on the second Tuesday at 7pm in the cafeteria of William Penn High School.  Wm Penn is located on Rt 141 in New Castle just south of Route 13.  The cafeteria is on the left hand side of the building.  Please enter through the side door across from the sports fields.  Proceed up the stairs to the cafeteria on your right.

 

THREE RIVERS MERIT BADGE COLLEGE IS COMING!!!

Join hundreds of Scouts from the Del-Mar-Va Peninsula in this exciting, classroom based opportunity to help Boy Scouts earn their merit badges.  Quality programs, top-notch instructors, and a smiling staff make this the must-attend event of the year.  Information packet (including details, prerequisites, instructions, contacts, and registration forms) is available HERE.

When:  Saturday January 12th (revised from 1/5) and Saturday February 2nd  2008
Bad Weather Dates: January 12th and March 9th 2008

Where: George Reed Middle School, New Castle Delaware

Time:  8 AM check-in until 4 PM

Cost:  $10 per boy for both sessions

Registration & Payment Deadline:  October 31st 2007
