The National Hornaday Awards Committee will be offering a William T. Hornaday Advisor Training Course

When:  May 31- June 2, 2019, 
Where: Rodney Scout Reservation, Del-Mar-Va Council, located at 400 Rodney Scout Road, North East, Maryland 21901
Cost:  $75 per person which includes room and board, and training materials.   
This 16-hour course, instructed by members of the national committee will help volunteer leaders support their councils and build capacity to tackle conservation work, establish new partnerships within the community and implement effective council conservation and Hornaday Award committees.  The William T. Hornaday awards are extensively covered, as well as opportunities for participants to support Scouting youth through the role of the William T. Hornaday conservation advisor. 
 
The course will begin at 7 pm on Friday evening, May 31st and conclude by 11 am on Sunday, June 2.  Meals and lodging will be provided beginning with a crackerbarrel on Friday evening, through Sunday breakfast. 

Lodging will consist of canvas wall tent camping with cots, and participants should bring suitable bedding for canvas wall tent camping.  Attire for the course will be the BSA Field Uniform.
Participants should be prepared for classroom and field instruction.
